Travel and Transportation
TRANSPORTATION: We advise that parents in the first instance are responsible for transporting their children to or from tennis venues and events. It is reasonable to place responsibility on parents for ensuring appropriate transport arrangements are made. Sometimes it may be necessary for the Club to transport a number of juniors for team-based events or activities, for example when an Under-18 player may travel with adult members to away matches. This issue is included in the LTA’s policy on safeguarding at events and competitions – please click HERE.
Parental Consent for Junior Travel
If a junior member is selected to represent a team in a match involving travel, and the parent is unable to drive them, the Club has drawn up a CONSENT FORM, which should be downloaded and completed and given to the relevant coach or team captain.
